New management team for maltanet/Datastream merger

It was announced today that the top management team for the new company being formed from the merger of DataStream and maltaNET is in place. The technical management team consists of engineers Ruben Azzopardi who will be responsible for Systems and IT, Simon Vella who will head all Network Operations, and Mark Gialanze’ responsible for the security of all platforms and operations. The commercial team consists of Gordon Dimech responsible for all sales operations, Jack Mizzi heading the marketing and wholesale services team and Jason Vella in charge of customer care. Michael Paris is the Financial Controller.
Commenting about the team, CEO Keith Fearne said that “We have put together one
of the strongest and most experienced management teams in the field. With broadband and IP being identified clearly as the main future revenue streams for the Maltacom Group, we appreciate that investing in having the right human resources in the right place is key to our continued success. I feel very lucky to have such a strong team around me.”
