BOV launches financial planning services from all branches

Bank of Valletta announced yesterday that it has appointed five new financial planning advisors to provide extended investment advice throughout its branch network.
This financial planning service is being provided to customers free of charge. This new service is another development in the Bank’s strategy to strengthen the wealth management dimension of the BOV brand.
“The introduction of extended financial planning services from all BOV branches marks an important milestone in the provision of wealth management services by BOV,” said Mario Pullicino, BOV’s executive head responsible for wealth management. The new advisors will be working together with the existing savings and investment officers deployed throughout the branch network to provide holistic investment advice to investors.
The newly appointed financial planning advisors have undergone rigorous training and are authorised by the Malta Financial Services Authority to provide independent financial advice not only on BOV products but also on a wide range of investment vehicles including direct investments in stocks and shares listed on both local and foreign Stock Exchanges.
Mario Pullicino explained that BOV has always been a pioneer in the provision of bespoke services. “We give special attention to the needs of each customer ranging from the smallest investor to the high net worth clients. Our objective is to assist our customers in achieving their full potential. Taking a long term view, we seek to add value by providing recommendations based on one’s particular needs, investment objectives and risk profiles”, highlighted Pullicino.
The financial planning advisors are available for advice on investment portfolios. Interested parties are to contact their respective BOV branch or call BOV’s Wealth Management Division on 22753861 for an appointment.
