Improved Benefits for AXA PPP healthcare policyholders

Following the successful launch in 2005 of the preventive care AXA PPP healthcare insurance plans by local agents Atlas Healthcare, the company is now announcing the launch of further benefits. These new benefits will apply to all standard plan individual and small group policyholders as their policies are renewed.
After February, all standard plans will cover charges for minor surgery approved by PPP to be carried out by a family doctor. Increased ambulance cover will also be available for holders of the International Plan while existing holders of the Classic Private Hospital Plan will benefit from an increased general practitioner outpatient limit. There are a number of excellent new benefits for those interested in the Private Clinic Plan, including the introduction of benefits for parent-baby accommodation, the introduction of ambulance cover, an increased GP outpatient limit and an increased allowance for authorised outpatient psychiatric treatment.
“These new benefits are proof of Atlas’ ongoing commitment to regularly improve on our healthcare insurance benefits,” explains Catherine Calleja, Managing Director of Atlas Healthcare.
