2.2 million hits on rfstockbrokers.com

Last week marked the 1st anniversary of the fourth generation website of Rizzo, Farrugia & Co. (Stockbrokers) Limited. Malta’s leading private stockbroking and asset management firm had conducted a major upgrade and redesign of its corporate website providing users with a comprehensive information portal covering the local financial market. The new site, which was designed by Cyberspace Solutions Limited and developed by Avantech Limited, was an instant success experiencing over 2.2 million hits over the past year. An average of 135 unique visitors log on to www.rfstockbrokers.com on a daily basis to gain access to updated prices, highlights of the trading session and the major news items. This continued to help the company retain a leading share in equity trading. Strong interest was also evident from overseas investors with hits generated from various countries including the USA, Switzerland, Slovak Republic, UK, China and Ireland. This confirms the growing level of enquiries by international investors seeking to gain an exposure to Maltese listed securities. The weekly market report compiled by our Research & Analysis Unit received a strong rise in subscriptions while an encouraging level of enquiries was also made for our Discretionary Portfolio Management Service which is becoming popular among our client base since investors recognise that they lack sufficient time and knowledge to manage their investments. A surge in visitors to the website occurs during a new share or bond offering as investors seek information and advice on new investment opportunities. More add-on features to the site are currently being implemented together with a restricted client log in facility thus improving Rizzo Farrugia & Co’s service offering to its existing and prospective clients.
