Air Malta fares are now inclusive of taxes and charges

National airline Air Malta is celebrating the introduction of the euro currency in Malta in style. The Maltese airline is offering its customers yet another fabulous offer to 25 destinations, starting from €77 one-way, including taxes and charges.
Brian Bartolo, Air Malta’s General Manager Marketing and Product, announced that “as from 1 January, Air Malta - the leading carrier in Malta –has included all the taxes, fuel surcharges and other airport charges in its flight ticket advertising. We are the first airline operating on the Malta route that is including the whole price of the ticket.
“This is more good news for our customers in that we will become more transparent in our pricing. Although taxes and airport charges are not charged by the airline but are collected by it on behalf of other authorities, we deemed it fair towards our customers to start including these charges in our pricing.
“We have made a commitment to be transparent and charge no hidden fees including credit card charges on our new portal”, Bartolo insisted.
A substantial number of seats are on offer for travel between 4 April and 6 July 2008. Ticketing is to be effected by 31 January. Certain conditions may apply. Flyaway Tours hotels and Europcar car hire with excellent value for money in all countries are also available.
Offer is valid on the following routes: Amsterdam, Athens, Berlin, Birmingham, Bologna, Budapest, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Leipzig, London (KM100/103/166/167), Lyon, Milan, Marseille, Paris, Prague, Rome, Geneva, Reggio, Istanbul, Palermo, Sofia, Toulouse, Tunisia, Vienna and Zurich.
With full service treatment, a brand new environmentally friendly aircraft fleet, together with quality in-flight entertainment, Air Malta said it was making sure that it continued to be the best value focused carrier operating the Malta route, and within its selected intra-European network.
More information on these special offers can be obtained from Air Malta’s new portal www.airmalta.com, or by calling on 21 662211.
