Peugeot launches new corporate website

After over 4 million visits in 2007 to the site http://www.peugeot.com, Peugeot is now steering its corporate website towards a new, even more interactive, editorial approach.
Peugeot’s new virtual storefront ensures extremely flexible and high-speed information processing, under seven sections: news, products, design, innovation, environment, sport and history. Any information can be accessed with a few clicks -- a reflection of the vitality driving the brand.
With the latest technologies available on the web, the site offers in each section photos, videos, synthesis images and, very soon, background sound.
This new website also values Peugeot’s heritage, incorporating its entire history the legendary milestone models and major technological innovations such as the HDi, Particle Filter or Coupé Cabriolet.
Even more interactive: however, the main novelties lie in the web 2.0 features, which establish genuine interaction between the web user and Peugeot: RSS subscription, rating of articles, “quick vote” surveys, option of forwarding articles to a friend and tag cloud. All these features will evolve to keep the site up to the pace of Peugeot’s news, during the Peugeot Design Contest for example.
This corporate site will remain as before the special channel for contact with each of the various national sites where Peugeot is present. These websites in particular have options for configuring a model, requesting a test drive or finding a dealer; all features that enhance relations, locally, between the web user and Peugeot.
A whole new website to discover on www.peugeot.com
