Pentasia launches Maltese IT Recruitment division

Pentasia Regional Director (Mediterranean) Christopher Vella explains to MARK CAUSON why businesses in Malta now have an even better chance of capturing the cream of the IT profession.
Pentasia earned a worldwide reputation for their outstanding work within iGaming recruitment and, according to Christopher Vella, the move into the IT sector will help businesses cope with the ever increasing demand for IT experts.
”The need for qualified and experienced IT people in Malta is fast exceeding supply,” he said. “The expected growth over the coming months and years with projects like SmartCity make it a very exciting time for the industry.”
Seemingly, Pentasia’s progression from iGaming to the ICT industry as a whole has been a natural and inevitable move.
“It was just a matter of time for us,” Vella explained. “There are lots of similarities between the online gaming and the IT industries and they stand to learn from each other.
”Since our inception we have become one of the main catalysts in the growth of the online gaming sector and we shall definitely contribute to achieve a similar success in the ICT industry over the coming years.”
Pentasia began operating in Malta in 2006. The company has already successfully placed experts across a whole spectrum of IT positions within the Mediterranean region.
”We have placed a number of people in Malta and Italy in middle and top management positions.”
Pentasia have been recruiting candidates since 2001 and have developed an unrivalled network of clients and candidates throughout Europe, the Caribbean, North America, Australasia, South Africa and the Far East.
With regional offices in the UK, Malta, Costa Rica, Scandinavia and Singapore, Pentasia are able to offer clients and candidates a truly international network combined with a tailored local service.
Working extensively from past success and referral, Pentasia have developed a reputation of cultivating long-term relationships, which have resulted in the majority of assignments being repeat business or by candidate recommendation.
