BOV lead sponsor of EMCS Business and Finance Forum

As Malta’s leading financial institution, Bank of Valletta is supporting the first in a series of conferences to be held by the EMCS, titled “Success and Evolution - Development and prospects of Malta as an International Business Destination”. This conference showcases Malta’s competitive advantage as a centre of business, finance and investment in Europe and will be held on the 26th of November 2008, at the Hilton, St. Julians.
Edward Muscat Azzopardi, Head of Marketing at Bank of Valletta, presented the Bank’s sponsorship to John C. Grech, Chairman and Managing Director at the Economic and Management Consultancy Services (EMCS) Limited, who thanked the Bank for its association with the event.
“Bank of Valletta is pleased to support initiatives intended to develop the reputation of our country as a centre of financial excellence and an investments hub. By partnering with EMCS for this conference we confirm our constant commitment towards the development of our economy in this direction”, explained Mr. Muscat Azzopardi.
The forum is intended to engage policy makers, decision-makers, service professionals and business operators in analysing what can determine Malta’s role as one of the leading business centres in the European Union. The forum will serve as a platform for understanding and strategic debate and should appeal to all operators in the business and financial sector including foreign investors, bankers, insurance specialists, and financial intermediaries. The Forum will also be of interest to legal advisors, financial advisors, auditors and business consultants.
