Dedicated Micros (Malta) Appoints new Managing Director, Production Director

AD Group, the international CCTV specialist parent company of Dedicated Micros, announces the promotion of Ing Noel Micallef to Managing Director of Dedicated Micros (Malta) Limited, the manufacturing subsidiary of the Group (that is based in Manchester, UK). The company which is the main manufacturing plant for ADH and Dedicated Micros Group, is responsible for all the electronics assembly for the Group as well as the manufacture of CCTV equipment for Dedicated Micros. The Malta plant has also recently been entrusted with the manufacture of a new camera range that the Group acquired from Baxall Limited
Ing Micallef, who is a an Electrical Engineer by profession, has been with Dedicated Micros for over 16 years out of the 18 years that the company has been operating in Malta. Mr Micallef joined the company as a Quality Engineer and moved on to IT and Process Engineering before being appointed Technical Manger in 1995 and Engineering Manager in 1999. He was subsequently appointed to the Board of Directors as Operations Director in January 2003. Ing Micallef has a First Class B.Eng. (Hons) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Malta, obtained in 1992 and is a warranted Engineer and Member of the Malta Chamber of Engineers.
The AD Group also announces the promotion of Mr Jason Vella to Production Director of Dedicated Micros (Malta) Limited. Mr Vella has been with Dedicated Micros for 14 years joining as a Production Planner in 1994. He moved into production as Assembly Manager shortly after, and on to Executive Production Manager in 2002. Today he is responsible for the company’s production and stores. Mr Vella has a Masters Degree in General Management from Anglia University, obtained in 1996. Mr Vella joins Noel Micallef, Managing Director, and Stephen L Muscat, Finance Director, on the Board of Directors for Dedicated Micros (Malta) Limited.
