Maltese appointed Confine President

John A. Gauci-Maistre K.M. has been recently appointed president of the Confederation of Italian Entrepreneurs in Europe for Malta with jurisdiction over the South Mediterranean region at a meeting held in Rome. The Confiine (Confederazione degli Imprenditori Italiani in Europa), which is under the distinguished patronage of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, is designed to facilitate the business activities of Italian entrepreneurs, through the identification and analysis of current prevailing scenarios and future perspective of European and international markets. A team of experts in different business and economic related fields evaluate the various issues of concern and endeavor to propose solutions and innovative approaches to the Italian entrepreneurs in their international vision. The Confederation also aims to further promote the Made in Italy concept in the major European markets, by enhancing and supporting trade relations and by assuming a proactive role to maintain the momentum in this regard.
The Hon. Massimo Romagnoli, founding President of Confiine, congratulated Mr Gauci-Maistre on his appointment and looks forward to working with him.
“Mr Gauci-Maistre brings with him a vast experience and I have no doubts that under his leadership we will have an excellent organisation of the Italian entrepreneurs resident or operating in and out of Malta,” he said.
