Vodafone ends year with another success

At the close of yet another successful year for Malta’s leading mobile operator, Inaki Berroeta, Vodafone Malta Limited’s Chief Executive Officer spoke to journalists during Vodafone’s traditional Christmas Lunch for members of the press.
Mr Berroeta highlighted Vodafone’s achievements for 2008. “While maintaining our established role and reputation as the leading player in Malta’s media communications landscape, this year we have also been the pioneers in launching on the local market the most technologically advanced products such as the iPhone and the BlackBerry.”
“Moreover, Vodafone is the only operator to have taken up MCA’s proposal to open its technological infrastructure to other operators. Such strategy is helping the organisation to achieve the return on investment, making it possible for Vodafone to continue investing in the latest research, innovation, technology and provision of services.”
Mr Berroeta said that to respond to the ever-changing environment that the business community is facing, Vodafone is set to change its strategy by investing in innovation while keeping the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction that Vodafone is renowned for.
“We are also celebrating by sharing our successes with both our loyal customers and with prospective new comers. Our Christmas offers include free credit; more talk time, more calls, SMS, MMS and video calls, as well as a wide range of mobile phones to choose from. For those preferring a post-paid service, Vodafone’s Knock Out Plans offer diverse plans that suit most financial and technical needs”.
“We look forward to taking up the challenges of the future, while striving for excellence at each step of the way,” he concluded.
