Malta promoted at Jeddah Conference

Preparations are well underway for an exciting number of days in which thousands of people will get to know the Maltese Islands a bit more. A small group of Maltese artists, entertainers and entrepreneurs will be guests during the Saudi Maltese Cultural and Business week taking place in the exciting Jeddah Summer festival in July.
Resting on the western border of Saudi Arabia, the busiest port on the Red Sea and business centre of this vast oil rich country, Jeddah receives over 3 million tourists during this lively summer festival. Considerable planning takes place prior to the festival since over 250 events will be running across forty five days commencing at the end of June till the middle of August. The festival is aimed at all members of society and supports domestic tourism in a way that complies with Saudi culture.
A substantial amount of effort has been made to promote Maltese culture and business during this event. As one of the many attractions taking place during the summer festival, the Saudi Maltese Cultural and Business week will promote some of the best Malta has to offer both to the public thanks to locations provided by the Jeddah branch of the Saudi tourism authority.
Private gatherings are also on the agenda during the Saudi Maltese Cultural and Business week at local resorts allowing government and business leaders to sample Maltese art, culture, culinary delights and entertainment throughout the cooler evenings. Business meetings are planned during the day allowing Maltese entrepreneurs the opportunity to network and discuss possible collaborations in this resourceful country amongst various Saudi business organizations based in the Western province.
The Saudi Maltese Cultural and Business week is certainly an opportunity for Maltese entrepreneurs to develop new contacts and experience a whole new vibrant market.
